W-Manager is the multi-manufacturer solution that allows to monitor photovoltaic installations geographically distributed in a single web platform

Managing and monitoring photovoltaic installations of different sizes and types, various inverter manufacturers and models, depending on the communication modules… can be expensive and inefficient. That is why we have developed a platform from Wattabit that solves the main problems of monitoring photovoltaic systems.

W-Manager is able to monitor the photovoltaic installations on the same platform, and thus be able to manage them from a single point and compare them. In addition, the goal of the platform is to make the work as reactive as posible: it will alert you when you detect a production problem or when efficiency is lower than expected, As well as sending a periodic report informing you of performance.

The solution is designed to monitor self-consumption photovoltaic installations with or without surpluses in public buildings, warehouses, industries, hotels, telecommunications stations, homeowners communities, etc.

W-Manager unifies the monitoring of different photovoltaic systems on one platform

3 Differentiation Advantages of W-Manager

1. Unifies monitoring of different facilities

It unifies the monitoring of the different photovoltaic installations in a single platform. Regardless of the manufacturer and model, the generation variables are monitored, both the complete installation and each of the MPPTs and/or strings depending on the inverter. In addition, from an operational point of view, we can extract state variables so that they alert the moment of any anomaly via SMS. Also, it is possible to measure and compare the efficiency of the installation (PR) by installing radiation sensors in the photovoltaic field. This allows you to detect deviations in real time that help generate the expected savings.

List of the main inverter models monitored:

  • SMA Sunny Tripower 15000TL / 20000TL / 25000TL
  • SMA STP CORE 1
  • Huawei  SUN2000-12KTL / 15KTL / 17KTL / 20KTL / 33KTL / 36KTL /
  • Huawei  SUN2000-40KTL / 60KTL
  • ABB PVS-50-TL / 100-TL
  • Fronius Symo 3.0-3-S
  • SolarMax 50C / SolarMax 80C / SolarMax 100C / SolarMax 300C

Even if there are manufacturers or models of inverters not included in the above list, all those with an operational interface and communication protocol can be monitored:

  • Modbus-RTU
  • Modbus-TCP
  • SunSpec

Or those that send to private web platforms of the manufacturer as:

  • Plataforma de SolarMax “MaxWeb Portal”

2. Complete your savings with energy management

Production is only one way to save energy, implementing monitoring of the main consumption and energy management will allow the implementation of new energy efficiency measures.

By monitoring the fiscal meter we can see the variables of consumption of total active and reactive energy and measure the quartary power. In addition we will be able to read the auto-consumption and the surpluses in facilities with spillage to network.

Installing meters in the main consumer sections of the building such as air conditioning, lighting, etc, will allow you to understand how their consumption is and detect through alarms any anomaly such as out-of-hours consumption, excesses, etc

The platform includes energy management modules, which will allow us to manage the different consumptions, the savings obtained and the associated costs, helping us to optimize consumption and costs.

3. Multifunction

The platform contains different functionalities depending on the type of user: maintainers (technicians), energy managers and end customers. In addition to the platform, it provides an APP mobile and periodic monitoring reports.

You can measure the CO2 saved thanks to the installation. Show the results on panels or televisions in the building.
