The three days of the most important international Smart Cities event where Wattabit has presented to the sector W-City, the CMS to transform cities

This year’s edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress concluded last Thursday successfully. Barcelona has been the scene of three intense days full of meetings, experiences and learning. Wattabit has not been able to miss this sharing of innovative companies.

Together with Sinapse, we have had the opportunity to present our new W-City platform to the sector to transform cities around the world into smart ones that are more efficient, more environmentally friendly, safer and more accessible for residents and visitors.

W-City, beyond the remote management of public lighting

Our innovative Smart Cities central management software (CMS) for lighting, energy and maintenance aroused a lot of curiosity among those attending the Smart City Expo.

The W-City cloud platform, is a central management system for street lighting cabinets and point-to-point of each light, is an open platform that integrates the open standards and protocols to connect to different Internet of Things (IoT) devices and third-party systems.

With the input of IoT data and an analytical layer, it offers energy management and maintenance functionalities, which facilitate decision making and are essential for verifying real-time savings.
