ESPECIALITATS MASDEU, Enertika and Wattabit are committed to improving competitiveness, sustainability and carbon footprint in their factories through the generation and supply of clean energy

The collaboration begins with the start-up of a photovoltaic self-consumption plant on the roof of its Puigdàlber facilities. The aim is not only to promote savings, but to reduce the impact of the carbon footprint.

• This project consists of an 80kWp photovoltaic installation and Enertika’s Global Energy Management (GEMS) service. GEMS monitors and manages the installation in real time. The planned annual renewable electricity generation, thus, is 130 MWh
• Enertika has been in charge of the design, execution and will operate the installation guaranteeing the return on investment and the reduction of emissions
• Through the GEMS service, new efficiency measures will be identified that will continue to reduce the energy costs of the industry

Masdeu, Enertika and Wattabit begin their collaboration in terms of sustainability and carbon footprint reduction with the implementation of a renewable self-consumption system integrated in Enertika’s Clean Power Supply service. This service includes the integral management of the installation guaranteeing the production and savings. The project is included in the group’s strategy for improving sustainability and the supply of green energy that will allow a significant percentage of the site’s electricity consumption to be of renewable origin.
